Brand new car in Tampa? Your paint faces UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap and bug splatter every day, and the sun bakes all of it in. The finish survives, but within the first year you start to notice fading, water spots and marks that will not come off.
Wax lasts weeks. A sealant lasts months. A ceramic coating lasts years. It takes the abuse so your clear coat does not have to, and it keeps the car looking the way it did the day you picked it up.
The coating takes the UV, the droppings, the sap and the bugs instead of your clear coat. Less fading, less oxidation, less permanent staining.
A coated surface is smoother, so it reflects more light. That is what makes the paint look deeper and glossier, and it is the difference you notice first.
The surface becomes extremely slick, so dirt and water have less to grab onto. Wash less, dry faster, stay clean longer.
